Jacksonville Fashion Week Announces Presenting Designers for 2012
International, national, and emerging designers will feature collections during the 2nd annual event.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – January 16, 2012 – Jacksonville Fashion Week (JFW) announces a stellar lineup of participating designers for its second annual event happening March 28 through March 31 throughout the city. Thursday, March 29th and Friday, March 30th runway shows will include the following designers: E. Marie, Lisa Kaminski Swimwear, Janie G. Couture, Brittany Blair, Lile Useche, Caroline Long, Bobby K and by Smith.
Additionally, Thursday night will include an emerging designer showcase by the following designers: Mia Merrit, April Wilder, Amanda Perez, Liz Dunham and Uliana Urubzhilova. Finally, JFW’s first-ever bridal show taking place on Saturday, March 31st will bring a collection of gowns by Heidi Elnora and bridesmaid dresses by Leona, both national designers. JFW has aligned its efforts with the following community partners: Visit Jacksonville, Downtown Vision, Fashion Group International of North Florida, Junior League of Jacksonville and Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Jacksonville chapter.
JFW has selected Dignity U Wear Foundation, Inc. (DUW) as its 2012 benefiting charity. DUW is a Jacksonville-based organization, which supplies brand new clothes to children and families, all over the country, at no cost, during crucial times of need. DUW will receive a portion of JFW ticket sales.
